I took Abbey and Emma to a kids hair cutting place here, and was not impressed. I will not be going back. The cuts are fine, but the lady was not friendly- and it's a kids place. Karen did Brook's and it's cute. Last night walking home from the pool Brook told me that now she wants her hair long again. It will be a while.

Curtains

After 6 months of having cardboard boxes in my windows, the curtains are hung! My family came to Safford for my birthday, and my dad graciously hung these for me. So much better.

Patio Updated

The week before my birthday the crews worked like crazy to get the paver decking done, and to install patios with different types of pavers as a display for customers to see. It turned out beautifully.

My Beautiful Birthday Flowers

What a fun day. We spent the day outside. My parents and Cole drove down in the morning (thank you family) and we went to the parade on Main Street. Then SWIMMING of course, accompanied by grilling. We ate my requested carrot cake from Costco and fruit pizza. We played softball and soccer on the grass, grilled fajitas for dinner, swam some more, ate wonderful rice krispies and brownies in the shape of stars (thanks Amy), did a few fireworks, watched the fireworks from the roof of the store (only some of us- not me), opened presents, got lots of phone calls, text messages and e-mails from family and friends (thank you all!) and did tons of other things. The crew worked SO hard to have the patio area done before Saturday, and it turned out beautiful. We still have to get fencing up and put some plants in, but things are moving right along. We're taking a break- a last-minute trip to Utah for Jay's family reunion.
