My Pantry

Cami and I spent almost the enitre day Saturday cleaning out my pantry. Literally. It took that long mainly because of all the mouse droppings, along with stopping to feed Suzee and clean up the messes the other kids were making while we were hiding in the pantry. The older kids, especially Abbey, helped clean off cans and wash off other dirty items. My pantry is now up to my standards, and I'm SO happy! Thank you Cami! I didn't even take before pictures because they would have been too embarassing.
P.S. While we were in the pantry, Bob pulled the fridge out of its' cubby hole (by himself) and cleaned behind it. He even found a dead mouse and disposed of it. Later in the the day after Bob threw a jar of lady bugs into their yard, our neighbor to the north threatened that he would get his gun out if Bob didn't stop. Did I mention boys are fun?

A Few More

The kids had fun playing with Cami, Ariel and Rachel. We ate lunch outside at Aunt Sherri and Uncle Clel's house. Other than a little wind, it was a beautiful day. Both sets of my grandparents were able to be there.

Blessing Day

We blessed Suzee yesterday- March 29, 2009. Here's a few pictures.

Isn't She Lovely?

Suzee Ann 5 Weeks

Abbey and Janna did this while we were driving to piano lessons. Yes, it's the same dress again. It must be her Friday dress.

Swimming Already

My children went swimming last week in the neighbors pool, and it was WINDY and cold outside. I brought them all inside with purple lips.

I Wear My Sunglasses...

We had fun last night. James wanted all the attention, and got mad when I tried to take a picture of anyone else.

Heart Attack

Chelsey's 25th birthday is today, so last night (in an effort to keep the kids busy) we went and heart attacked her house. The pictures are dark since it was night. If I'd been patient enough, we would have counted out 25 balloons, but the kids were done being nice, and we were worried about Chelsey getting home any minute, so we hurried.

My Boys

James playing peek-a-boo with me at the doctor's office yesterday. He never covers his eyes- just his mouth and nose.

James was completely obsessed with the stirrups. Awesome. I had to keep putting the cover back on. He thought it was a fun game.

Bob rolling around on the bathroom floor because he did NOT want to wash his hands for dinner.
Bob scratched Abbey's neck with a pen after he felt she should have given his balloon back sooner.
Boys are fun!

Cousins

Tucker
Lia
Emma
Johnathan
Abbey

Lots of cousins were in town for Jonathan and Krista's baptisms on Saturday. From the color of their faces after playing outside all day, you'd think it was the middle of summer.

Grand Opening Anniversary

This time last year we had our Grand Opening at our new facility. This year we had an anniversary sale with sodas and hot dogs, and giveaways. It was a BUSY day for us with over 250 transactions, and our largest one-day sales volume since we opened. A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped out to make it work- especially my mom and Cami who both came to help with our kids. The kids had more fun with them than they would have had working with us. Here are a few pictures Abbey took in the nursery on Saturday. The weather was perfect.

Suzie Kin

This is Rachel's freaky mannequin head named Suzie Kin. She thought it would be entertaining to take pictures of the 2 Suzee's together.

Post Surgery

Pre-anesthesia
Post-anesthesia
Post-surgery
Wounds
All wrapped up with sling and ice pack

Jay is, well, in pain. The surgery went well, and the nurse said it was the right choice to have it done. She called after the surgery to let me know he was done. I told her I would be there in a few minutes, and she told me not to hurry because they still had stuff to do before he coud leave. I got there about 30 minutes later, and when I called in to recovery, she answered the phone and said:

"Is this Tami? Is this his wife?"

Me: "Yes."

Nurse: "I'm so glad you're here. He won't stop talking."

I thought he was pretty entertaining. He got on his cell phone as soon as I got there. After we left, we stopped at Basha's for steak (he hadn't eaten all day). He almost ran into a few people with his electric cart. We then came to the yard where he made more phone calls and grilled the steak for dinner. His arm and shoulder were still numb from the shoulder block, so he felt okay.
4 am when the block wore off, and the ice pack ran out of ice was a different story. I guess he thought it wouldn't hurt??? After attempting to come to work this morning and losing his breakfast he decided to go home to rest (thank goodness). He was sent home with a pain pump and a circulating ice pack that will stay in place at least for the next 2 days, maybe longer. He was supposed to go back to court tomorrow (long story) but he asked me to reschedule, so I'm working on that. They want a note from the doctor. Thursday he starts rehab, and next week he flies to Tennessee for a pool and spa training. I hope he feels well enough to go. He doesn't remember anything the nurse told him, so I have to keep reminding him what he can and can't do. For the time being, I have 9 dependants.
